Bullseye News, Events and Information

BREAKING NEWS!

Feb 2011-2012:  The PFG Bullseye league is forming.  If you are interested in shooting bullseye pistol on Monday nights beginning Oct 17, contact bill@williamdutton.com.  Rosters will be turned in Monday October 10 so hurry!  (late comers will be assigned to teams in mid season too.)

New Range Improvements: The indoor range has received a significant face lift recently.  We have installed a target retrival system so no more walking down range to hang your targets.

We will need to get volunteers together soon for a work crew to separate the lead from the rubber backstop material.  If you are a new member looking to get some work hours in, contact me.  bill@williamdutton.com

If you have materials to donate to the range (sheet metal, lumber, tools, etc...) please let me know.  I'm sure we can find a use for it.

Out door turning target range is still open but we will be winterizing the turning target mechanism soon wihch means we will need to turn off the power to the turning target motor.

The Ranges

Indoor Range: The indoor range is a 50 foot range.  There are 8 positions.  You must be qualified to use this range.  See any range officer to schedule qualifications.  Users of this range are required to supply their own targets.  This range is located at the old clubhouse.  After using this range it is customary to sweep and dispose of used brass.

Outdoor Turning Target Range: The turning target range is 50 yards and 25 yards.  There are 48 covered firing points.  This range is one of the finest in the region.  Targets at the 25 yard line turn electronically and can be done using manual or programmed intervention.  Loaded firearms are not allowed beyond the firing line without prior approval from the board of directors.  Target frames and cardboard are available at the range but shooters must use their own targets. This range is located to the left of the main clubhouse next to the silhouette range.  You must be qualified to use this range.  See any range officer to schedule qualifications. After using this range it is customary to sweep and dispose of used brass.
